Our volunteers are an integral part of realizing our mission. Additionally, they are fundamental in the day-to-day work that we engage. This includes:

• corresponding with our members, mentors and mentees

• coordinating courses

• setting up and breaking down equipment for class sessions

• conducting initial registration of mentees

• maintaining course schedules with a particular eye to efficiency

 

We pride ourselves in encouraging progress for both our internal and external stakeholders; our volunteers are no exception. Our volunteers go on to become Teach You Media Mentors, community activists, educators and professionals. No prior experience is needed to become a TYM volunteer.
